Granite City Waaagh Fest

Waaagh!Fest 2011

Jun-21-2011

Granite City Waaagh!Fest is OVER!

The dust has settled, the combatants have slept off their hangovers and most everyone has returned to their normal lives.

Twenty generals came from all over the state of Minnesota to complete in the first annual Granite City Waaagh!Fest this weekend and I'm glad to say it seems like it was a smashing success. Much food and beer was consumed, music pumped from the DJ booth keeping the mood intense yet fun, and everyone looked like they were having a great time.

Thanks again to everyone who showed up to play, I don't think it could have gone much better than it did (except the scoring/tracking software failing). I also want to thank the crew that helped haul boards and boxes of terrain the night before and helped setup 13 tables at 7:30am the morning of.  And special thanks goes out to Matt at McCann's for doing everything possible to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of all day long.
