Sorry to say folks, the roster for Granite City Waaagh!Fest is officially full. I'm surprised to see the extra eight slots fill so quick after opening them up, Don't fret though, I'll be posting a sign up form in the next day or so for those who wish to be put on a waiting list. Sometimes people have to drop for whatever reason and I'll be pulling from this list to replace these folks. You will be contacted in the order in which you submited to be included on the waiting list.

I'll post an update both here and Facebook to inform everyone when this goes online.

Thanks again for those who did get in and I can't wait to see everyone here!

With three months (pretty much) left until Waaagh!Fest 2012, there's only one more slot left and I know there some people who haven't registered yet. We've decided to add another 8 slots, expanding the field to 40 players to accomodate these folks. After that we'll open a "Waiting List" sign up for people who want to play and could fill in for people who need to drop or not show. (that and we don't have any more tables ready!)

Remember too that t-shirts are on sale online until May 28th as well and available for $16 – $17.50. These will be availabe for pick up at the event.

I dropped some spanna wrenches across a few gretchin skulls and got us some dealz on armour dis year. Well, regular ork t-shirt armour dat iz! I've gotten a break on the shirt prices from $20 last year to $16 this year, and they're waaaay cooler than last years threads. The image to the right is the mockup and pretty much what it'll look like.

OK, it might seem like a long way away but time flies like dakka out a big shoota when yer not lookin' ! Lots of cool things in the works for this years gathering and I think you all will want to be a part of it. Work on the contest boards are rumored to be underway by a number of parties and it sounds like there's some really cool ones under construction.

The biggest news though is the poster/artwork for this years Waaagh!Fest. Fellow ork big mek and very talented artist (meanin' drawer of tings orky), taytonclait, has graciously given us permission to use an outstanding piece for our poster. (at right) I can't wait to see this thing on the large board, standing at the door and awaiting the winners (which is all of us).

Make sure you go over to his Deviantart gallery and check out the rest of his fantastic work. Maybe we can get him to do something custom for us next year 😉
