The St. Cloud area is known for it’s events, conferences, high school and collegiate sports, and conventions, so there is no lack of options for staying in the local area. There are 10 hotels within a 2 mile radius of The Moose Lodge 1400, where the Granite City Waaagh!Fest! is hosted. All a short Uber, Lift, or cab ride away. 

Sadly, Waaagh!Fest! is not a large enough event where we can obtain a block rate for rooms, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t affordable options nearby.  There are rooms from as low as $63 a night. Below is a map showing the location of Waaagh!Fest! (upper left, circled in green), and the 10 closest hotels (in red). 

Below that is a listing of each hotel, a pic, the going rate (cheapest), and a link to the Google Maps location for booking since it lists multiple booking sites and may give better rates.

All rates give as are of Jan 10th, 2026. Be aware that with the fluidity of the ever changing schedules of the many events that go on in town over the summer, these prices may (most likely, will) fluctuate between now and Waaagh!Fest! 2026. We will try to update the prices below every couple of months.

Yes, there is an Econo Lodge that is the closest for $46 a night, but we wouldn’t trust that place. It has a long history of just being not good. We’re being polite.
